Because enterprises need to process sensitive and confidential business data using cloud-based services, they must ensure their data is safe. At Mantium, data security is at the forefront of everything we do. We are pleased to share that we completed the System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type 2 Data Security Audit. Therefore, enterprises can rest easy, knowing their data is safe with us.
The SOC 2 Type 2 information security standard is an audit report, which was developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
A SOC 2 Type 2 report is an internal controls report capturing how a company safeguards customer data and how well those controls are operating. Companies that use cloud service providers use SOC 2 reports to assess and address the risks associated with third party technology services. These reports are issued by independent third party auditors covering the principles of Security, Availability, Confidentiality, and Privacy.
In recent years, there has been an uptick in vendor security concerns and a demand for greater transparency, which results in more requests for SOC 2 reports. The primary purpose of these reports is to support due diligence around vendor selection. It also provides ongoing monitoring of third-party vendors and partners.
In a time of increasing awareness around safety and security, an updated SOC 2 report on file demonstrates our commitment to transparency and security. Consequently, it is an effort to maintain trust with our users and the Mantium community.
“Enterprises have private and sensitive business-related data and require access to secure, confidential, cloud-based services, with the utmost data processing integrity,” said Ryan Sevey, CEO, Mantium. “Our clients can be assured with the completion of SOC 2 Type 2 of our dedication to governance and putting data security at the forefront, reflecting our ongoing commitment. Our goal is to make building AI approachable for all enterprises, big and small, and this important audit supports us in moving forward with this exciting endeavor.”
Sensiba San Filippo, LLP (SSF) conducted the audit. They are a nationally recognized CPA firm registered with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. This audit is an attestation report. It affirms that Mantium’s information security practices, policies, procedures, and operations meet SOC 2 Trust Service Criteria.
Mantium uses Drata’s automated platform to continuously monitor its internal security controls against the highest possible standards. With Drata, Mantium has real-time visibility across the organization to ensure all systems’ end-to-end security and compliance posture.
