What’s New This Week

Feature Updates & Improvements

• UI table update: Minor change to the CSS to ensure that text stays within the boundaries of the box and doesn’t go off screen
• Ability to change password in chirps app: This improvement now allows users to change their password within the UI instead of relying only on the Django admin interface
• Display worker status: Now users are able to view the status of the dependencies like celery and rabbitmq making it easier to troubleshoot
• Configurable severity: New view for severities to be listed, created and archived.

Upcoming Milestones

• Scans as configuration items: Week ending 8/25 – Scans would now have a history, become configure items rather than execution items and a control stat (start/stop)
• Expanding Chirps to scan LLM API’s: TBD – This will provide the ability to scan LLM (Language Models) APIs for specific security-related issues such as Prompt Injection, DDOS, and other potential vulnerabilities.
