What’s New This Week

Feature Updates & Improvements

• Added indicator to “ping” buttons: Lets the user know that an asset is currently being pinged when the “ping” button is pressed. While the request to `asset/ping` is outstanding, an indicator will now display.
• Cohere Embeddings: This provides support for Cohere’s embedding models
• Configurable findings preview window: The amount of text shown before and after a finding was hard-coded to 20. This ticket is to allowed that value to be user-configurable

Bug Fixes

• Fixed: Scan stuck in “Queued” phase: The outcome of this is a new issue logged for a UX enhancement to indicate the worker status

Upcoming Milestones

• Password Management: Week ending 8/14 – Users will be able to perform password updates in the UI which includes password strength meter, two fields to match verification and confirmation
• Worker Status: Week ending 8/14 – Ability to view the status of the celery workers in the UI to indicate whether or not it needs to be restarted
